Dr. Brenda C. Edwards, O.D. joined Heart of America Eye Care in 1990. Dr. Edwards provides primary eye care, contact lens fittings for adults and children (to include specialty fittings of bifocal and astigmatism lenses), and low vision rehabilitative services. Dr. Edwards is a fellow of the American Academy of Optometry. She is also a member of the American Optometric Association, as well as the Kansas Optometric Association. She received a clinical achievement award during her fourth year of optometry school, and was a member of Gold Key Honor Society for leadership and academic performance. She has worked closely with Kansas and Missouri Blind and Hearing Impaired Rehabilitative Services to provide these individuals with vision care.
