Cynthia A. Simone, O.D.

Dr. Cynthia A. Simone, O.D. has been a member of the Heart of America Eye Care team since 1992. A native of Indiana, she graduated from the University of Notre Dame with honors in chemistry and subsequently obtained her Doctor of Optometry degree from Indiana University. She then moved to the Kansas City area where she completed a residency in optometry at the Kansas City Veteran’s Administration Hospital. After completing her residency, Dr. Simone held the position of an instructor in ophthalmology for three years at the University of Kansas Medical Center. During those years she was involved in teaching primary eye care and contact lens fitting and management to ophthalmology residents.

Dr. Simone specializes in family eye care and specialty contact lens fitting for adults and children. She enjoys working with patients and their families in developing a long-term relationship to provide quality eye care.
